ARES FACULTY IS THE CHAMPION OF THE FACULTY DANCE COMPETITION!!! =D
or rather, one of the champions, but who cares! haha.. We tied with Apollo (why can't they just let us win?) which also has very strong faculty spirit :) But I really love it when ARESians come together to cheer "AY-REES, AY-REES..." coz for one, we always start cheering for our faculty before any others start to compete with us :) secondly, we drown everyone out!! :)
yay about 12 of us from 06S76 went to Marina Bay today for reunion dinner... attendance was better than I had expected :):) - those present were Wan Ting, Christine, Qing Yan, Deanne, Wen Wei, De Pin, Chi Loong, Wayne, Willis, Lu Jie, Juan Boon and I! Too bad only 2 seniors - John and Tang - came...heh the gathering wasn't very interesting and exciting actually, we just played touch rugby, hung out at the arcade (Deanne drives like a mad woman but she gets the championship!! O.o haha kk no insults =p) and had a steamboat dinner (with Deanne having an overload of butter ><) but I just feel good when I'm with my class:) Though you guys may not know it, all of you have been giving me much emotional support... E.g. Wan Ting's smiles cheer me up very much! =D
Anyway, some things have been bothering me these days. I can feel the change between my 'new' and 'old' self =p Actually, ever since lessons have started, I think my "hyperactive-ness" has died down and I'm getting more serious, which is good. heh, I think I've created a scenario where people can't understand what's my "true self". haha. I like that:) It's nice to have a fun character on the surface but also let people know a little that you have a more serious character or a "softer side" on the underneath. I think I'm still hiding a lot from my class. During orientation especially, I think I've portrayed a very optimistic and enthusiastic image of myself...and more than half the class probably think I'm a really happy and confident (?) person when I'm actually pessimistic and paranoid... sigh I really think too much, don't I... How irritating.
I feel at peace today. Finally. Even if things don't work out fine, I know that I have LIM MIAN. I KNOW THAT I have a soulmate whom I can share my problems with almost anytime I want. Thanks mian. Don't cry anymore. And thanks for that 4 precious hours in Venezia yesterday. I LOVE YA. <3 be happy:)
