What started out as an enthusiastic bunch of 6 looking forward to HC choir practice at 2pm today ended up as a lethargic visit to Suet's house. Ever since 20 days ago when we left the choir chalet, we've been looking forward to this very choir practice and the one on 30th as well, which had been cancelled earlier on... So we happily trooped off to NY for our own practice at 1pm to prepare for the prac at HC later. But when we got to HC, we then found out that practice was cancelled... and no one told us! =( ok but we didn't go clarify either lah...so partly our fault. =( Both sides assumed that each other knew. argh so we drew up an agenda which we didn't follow very closely *ahem* and sang lots of unsuccessful pieces. V disappointing!! =( Felt so unfulfilled after the prac. We left at around 3.15pm and went to Suet's house to play TABOO. But most of the time was spent chatting/throwing pillows around/watching FRIENDS. hmm.. but nothing worked out very well... the whole atmosphere was rather depressing. So I concluded that all of us were having withdrawal symptoms after 20 days of not having attended HC choir practice...Which is kinda stupid since we aren't even officially in HC choir yet! And we're missing it as though we've been there for a thousand years and are feeling so extremely passionate about it already. hhmmmm. okay. but well...it's understandable since choir seems to be the only interesting thing amongst the extreme boredom in this hols.
ANyway I really feel like starting school coz I'm so excited about choir and orientation and making new friends and well, to sum up - whatever that has got to do with FUN... hurhur. but then again I'm also really nervous coz there're gonna be lots of smarties and muggers and chinese high people around. I duno what that means either. But anyway I'm really looking forward to seeing people from other schools aside from NY and TCHS pupils. heh. stupid HC's cut-off point is THREE. Shockingly high. yeah but it's all because of us huh. stupid IP students taking up so much vacancies already. So that people can go around saying things that seem ridiculous but are actually reality: I got only FOUR points but I can't enter HC!!! Well, I think NJC's gonna be really fun since it has apparently become the most popular school and most reality choice of school too... so many of my friends are going there!!! nvm. just across the road. haha. =p hope I'll get to see these friends real soooon.
School's starting. school's starting. school's starting.
haha. It's great to start choir right after school re-opens.
At least I'll feel comforted and reassured that there is something that I'll look forward to for the next 2 years no matter what happens. =)
