haha...I'm writing reflections for the movie "Earth", which is about communalism in India, while listening to the song from "Taegukgi", a film on the Korean War. haha, no doubt I'm finding it very difficult to concentrate, but I can't be bothered anymore~! I really love the song from "Taegukgi" because it's so soothing.., Soothing background music from a war movie... so ironic. How soothing can it get? Even though one may be miles away...or decades away from what has already been lived through...but it still evokes as much sympathy and emphathy for not only the victims of war, but also those fighting the war, because they often become the victims of war too. ha...The human world IS rather depressing after all. History lessons have taught me much about the inevitable mistakes that major leaders commit... From MaoZeDong and his Great Leap Forward and Cultural Revolution to Hitler and his extermination of the "inferior race" during the Holocaust... WWI, WWII, Cold War. And all these add up to only a certain portion of the evils of the 20th Century era. Did Mao and Hitler shed a single tear? 'Inferior Race'. 'Superior Race'. 'Minority'. 'Black'. 'White'. 'Race'. 'Religion'. 'Fundamentalism'. 'Extremism'. 'Terrorism'. Do they belong comfortably to a single package? I wonder whether there will ever be a day when we can stop sticking labels all over our heads just so that we can upgrade or degrade someone based solely on those labels. Probably only if the world were to be rid of its emotions.
Hm, as usual, I have no idea what I've been rattling about.
Anyway, I must say that I really like the actor Won Bin! =p (Oh my, how unlike me =p) Do you know why? It's because I like him when he frowns.
