*[[ Msec2 ]]*

I have always been wondering whether Msec2'04 will revive since we've been noted as the "most enthusiatic" choral group during Choral Festival last year. =) Although we didn't perform very well on stage, we had loads of fun in the terraces, singing together and sharing our common passion for music. haha, we still met up after that twice - once during AC Superstar*, and another time in December at Joshua Cheam's (one of the 3 Joshuas who were ALL from VS) house =p We wanted to go door-to-door carolling at that time, but were afraid that since we didn't have a license, someone may call up the police. Of course we didn't want to be under ARREST. LOL. So we put off the idea... and I thought that that would be the end of Msec2's existence...

But recently, I received an email from Collin calling for all Msec2 choristers to join in a probable carolling activity at the end of the year in NOv/Dec!! =) I'm sooo glad that I checked my inbox since his mail was classified under JUNK. (Hotmail clears Junk mail once every 5 days - which meant that I could have easily missed it.) Gosh. This has to work out! It's been one year since Choral Festival '04...Everything seems to have just flown by. Hm, anyway I just realised that my Holidays are really eventful. June Hols '05 is the best, coz for more than half of the holidays, I was engaged in something other than ACADEMICS. yuck. ok I've completed very little homework. HA. But i don't care anymore. I'd rather live my life and not get straight A1s. More meaningful this way, don't you agree? haha, I'm getting slackier over the years. Losing my motivation. Or perhaps it's just that my perspection of life has been shifting, and so I'm getting myself involved in non-academic activities. Let's see what I've done in the past 1.5 years (Sec 3 - Sec 4 June):

1) Choral Festival
2) Laudatur Voce I (choir concert)
3) Prague, Czech Republic, choral festival and competition
4) Shanghai attachment to FuDan FuZhong
5) IMCB attachment - zebrafish!
6) SYF (GWH)!!! =D
7) Choir performance in Malaysia (KL + Penang)
8) A*star yearbook (um ok this one is minor)
9) Youth Forum '05
10) Nanyang Research Programme 2005 (NRP)

ok I realise that I had a lot of fun.

Too much fun? haha. I don't think so. Just enough to keep me going in my academic life. =) Anyway I think it's not only just these experiences that have made my life meaningful. I owe it to my class 405 and our wonderful form teacher MS NG who is always smiling and brimming with radiance (I can't believe she's leaving us to complete her Masters ='( and we're getting Mrs Seah who's really intimidating)! Our Lang Arts lessons have been constantly peppered with movies (YES A WHOLE LOT OF THEM) and titbits! =p haha I think History students from 405 are the luckiest chaps. We watch the most movies - coz we get to watch during LangArts, during Chinese lectures sometimes, and in History lessons. HEH. =)

ok, I better stop and get back to work...

Just taking a moment to relieve the good old days =D
