Sigh. ok I'm going for the Malaysia trip alright. Another 5 days of my holidays will be gone in a breeze. Recently I also received this email from A*STAR which I just accepted since I've never really spoken to a scholar. Anyway it doesn't take up that much time and hopefully it'll be a fairly fun and enriching experience. Ah whatever. Youth Forum has been quite stable for now, just that we have to do presentations on thursday (2 days from now) which I havent really prepared. Gotta go start on my CHEM SIA research. And I'm watching Kingdom of Heaven on Friday night with YaWen, LimMian and hopefully a few others. =)
Hm anyway this week is Sabbaticals Week/Slack Week. However, it isn't as slacky as I thought it would be since I'm cooped up with a lot of other tasks although they're not homework. Ah well, life goes on. For all who aren't coping very well with life at this moment, just sustain for another 5 months and WE'RE OUTTA NANYANG...!!!
...into Hwa Chong Institution.....
Nvm....Life goes on... Life goes on............

>Subject: Invitation to participate in A*STAR Yearbook project
>Date: Wed, 11 May 2005 17:04:52 +0800
>
>Dear Hui Ying,
>You have been recommended to us by our colleagues in IMCB.
>A*STAR is currently working on the 2005 A*STAR Yearbook and would like to
>invite you to participate in the project.
>For the past few years, A*STAR Yearbook has been used as a tool to
>interest young students, like yourselves, in science and encourage them to
>take up research as a career.
>
>This year, we will be adopting the theme of "U & I" where "U" refers to
>A*STAR graduate and PhD scholars and "I" refers to secondary school
>students, like yourselves. We have decided to feature 10 pairs of
>secondary school students and A*STAR scholars. The idea is to pair up each
>scholar with a secondary school buddy and they will strike a conversation
>on different topics, conveying the key messages of A*STAR through the
>conversations.
>
>We hope that you will be able to participate in the project. If you are
>agreeable, we will set up the 1session whereby you will chat with your
>A*STAR scholar buddy and 1 photography session within the next two weeks.
>Each session will not take longer than an hour.
>
>We would also like to find out more about your hobbies, so that we can do
>the appropriate matching of scholars and conversation topics.
>
>Should you have any queries, please feel free to contact me.
>Hope to hear your favourable reply soon.
>
>
>Best Regards!
